Messages from some of our current volunteers:

Monica Wang My name is Monica. I Came to Boston more than a year ago. I used to work as an English teacher in my country. My profession is international trade but self-taught as English majors. After coming to the United States, I mainly stayed at home to take care of children. I encountered a variety of difficulties but the children and I have always been trying to learn Chinese, Because for Chinese families, mastering Chinese and understanding the Chinese culture is a life of wealth. Thank you Chinese Family Network, for the urge and help!

Ran Tian I am a full-time mom taking care of my two beautiful little girls and have been living in Westford for more than four years. With a master’s degree in accounting, I was an accountant before deciding to focus on family life. I love kids deeply from my heart and spending time with them makes me feel relaxed and fulfilled. It is so lucky that there’s a Chinese story time for our kids in the community and I would like to make my biggest contribution to the growing and success of this organization.

Alex Li

My name is Alex Li, a high schooler at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. In terms of activities, I have great interests in Computer Science and Speech and Debate. I currently debate for the high school team in the Lincoln-Douglas event category, enjoy learning CS languages, and recently have gotten into the competitive programming space. I look forward as a volunteer to help many kids learn and find fun in exploring new interests and activities.
